North London Disability Games
Club members annually support the North London Disability Games held at the Aspire Centre in Stanmore
We join other clubs from the London District in the running of this event organised by Scott Maclachlan
from The Rotary Club of Barnet.
2023 Disability Games
The Club President and members of Rotary Club of the Studios of Elstree and Borehamwood took part in the Annual Disability Games held at The Aspire Centre in Stanmore on Sunday the 15th of October 2023. The event organised by Scott McLachlan from The Rotary Club of Barnet, being a collaboration of several Rotary Clubs across Northwest London to bring this event, which saw disabled people from across the area enjoy an afternoon of sports, which included Darts, Bagatelle, Table Trennis, Bowls, Botcha, to name a few. The Studios Club team helped organise the sound system for the event, ran the raffle, plus provided some refreshments for the afternoons event. Club President, Andrew Grady provided a 'Trumpet Fanfare' at the prize giving ceremony at the end of the afternoon, with the Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals presented by one of the District Governor team, Adrian Faires.
